Beneteau First 32, "Aphrodite", IRL356, is a cruiser racer, Irish boat from new, registered with the Irish ships registrar, (i have all the relevant paperwork), so no issue cruising outside of Irish waters, has spent the last decade in Schull, West Cork, wintered ashore every winter in "Rossbrin Boatyard, Schull", where she was re-engined with a Volvo Penta D1-20, gearbox, shaft & folding propellor. In spring 2023 she had a survey by a certified marine surveyor, & some standing rigging replaced, full rig inspected & set up by the certified rigger, & a new propshaft seal. Anything this boat needed, it has got. Hot & cold pressurised water. Icom vhf, Engine serviced spring '24,. Recent sails & stakpak & lazy Jack's & spray hood (3 reef main mcwilliam, rolling furling genoa) twin grove forestay, furlex roller fuller, a good no.1 genoa, spinnaker & pole. New winches & clutches (four Lewmar 45evo 2speed selftailing & one Harken 20 selftailing at bottom of mast) & (7 new spinlock clutches to port & 7 spinlock clutches on starboard) recent 1000w windlass motor, a large solar panel powering four 110ah inhouse batteries, & a 75ah starting battery, battery charger, shore power, central heating, fridge, recent mattresses & bedding (may'24).3 chart plotters (one above campanionway, one at the forward facing nav table, one in aft cabin), ais, autopilot, remote control electric windlass, 16kg anchor 40m of 8mm chain & 30m of rope. Seperate forward & aft cabins, berting options in the saloon, removable cockpit table & saloon table. New 150litre freshwater storage tank. She was freshly antifouled & launched on 1st June. €9k spent in last 2years. She is well set up for cruising, with several trips to France & UK under her belt, & still has a good turn of speed for abit of club racing, with a favourable Isa Irc. This model (first 32), has a decent sized cockpit, due to a wider stern compared to similiar yachts of her age, & a roomy saloon with aft cabin.
Aft cabin needs the ceiling fabric restuck or replaced, but usable for now.
The new owner may have the use of my private registered, annually inspected mooring in schull harbour for the rest of the season. Zodiac tender with an almost new 2.5hp fourstroke susuki outboard, four auto lifejackets (all with harness& c/strap) & a 4man liferaft (cert valid for another two years) available seperatly.
